Oxford English On-Line
FAQ List

Do you need any special software application?
No, access to Oxford English On-Line is the same as any access to the
Internet. Learners are issued with a unique URL access link to their
course(s).
Why did I have to do the course again?
Each course starts with a Placement Test and a course based on the
results of the appropriate test and once the unique course has been
completed, a Course Completion Test is taken. This test must be passed
at the required level in order to get access to the next level.
Any learning area not passed with an average of 90% will lead to
re-entry to that learning area. In the event of an overall result close
to 90% (for example 88%), teachers can decide that a learner should be
lifted to the next level.
Can I get access to the course from home?
As an Internet-based application, Oxford English On-Line can be accessed
from any computer that has access to the Internet and as long as you
have your unique course access entry link (URL).
Are there placement and progress tests?
Yes, there are both placement and progress tests covering writing and
vocabulary skills.
Is there an Administrator Portal for teachers?
Yes, companies and teachers have access to their own students through a
unique portal access.
Which English language skills are covered?
Oxford English On-Line focuses on writing and vocabulary skills. The
System sets up a unique set of tests and courses for each learner with
status testing after each learn area.
